Thanks to highly qualified engineers and technicians, with over
65 years of expertise, Barfield has developed a new product
category called the Imperium series. Imperium, a Latin word
which in a broad sense, translates as 'power to command'
represents new Barfield products containing an automated
pressure controller or automated testing features. The latest
product being introduced is the fully automated 1811NG
which is bringing the power of an automated Air Data Test Set
(ADTS) to an affordable price. The 1811NG performs altimeter
and static systems tests and inspections directly supporting
General Aviation, Helicopter, UAV, Non-RVSM Regional and
Corporate aircraft. Critical components used in the 1811NG
have a well-established history of proven flight line reliability
& accuracy - including case, pumps, valves, and pressure
transducers. Barfield introduced an innovative feature to the
DPS1000 in 2013, wireless communication for display and
control using the latest Wi-Fi technology. This wireless WIFI
technology is being carried through to the next imperium
series product the 1811NG.
