insert & extract a terminal from the connector housing without
damaging the terminal or housing.
Metal insertion/extraction tools have a handle that consists of
two color-coded halves. One half features a metal extraction
tip & the other half features a metal insertion tip.

- The 305183 series of extraction tools listed are designed to remove pin & socket
contacts from Multimate connectors.
Each tool features a handle & sleeve to release the contact locking lance, & a push
rod button to eject the contact. There are two styles of tools. The first style
illustrated has a plastic handle & push rod button with all other components made
of steel. The second style illustrated has an aluminum push rod button with all other
components made of steel. The part number determines the style of the tool.
